Since 1985, Paul Brown Hawaii helped pioneer the green movement that now dominates the hair and beauty industry. Our founder, celebrity stylist and thermal straightening pioneer Paul Brown, was inspired by native Hawaiians who used the bounty of their land and waters for health, beauty and total well-being. They use awapuhi, a soapy wild ginger, to cleanse hair. They heal burns and protect their skin from harsh UV rays with Kukui Oil (a natural UV protector). This liquid gold — which boasts the tiniest molecules of any oils — penetrates deep into the hair shaft to hydrate and restore softness and shine naturally.
